Are all travel agents the same? Need recommendations pls.

I been in bay area for about a decade now and visit India almost every year. My experience with travel agents here has been bitter so far - especially when it comes to changing/cancelling tickets. I’m sick of changing agents every year and finding out that they are all the same. Makemytrip and other online sites are no different.

Any recommendations on a local agent who cares about customers and their needs?
